Asteroids - abbreviations

T The reference date of the mean anomaly - ie the date at which the asteroid has the mean anomaly specified by M. The time scale used for this is Terrestrial Dynamical Time (TDT).
M The mean anomaly of the asteroid at the reference date T, in degrees.
a The semi-major axis of the orbit, in astronomical units (AU).
e The eccentricity of the orbit. An eccentricity of 0.0 means that the orbit is circular, whilst a value of 1.0 indicates a parabola. All asteroids have an orbital eccentricity less than 1.
w The argument of perihelion, in degrees.
W The longitude of the ascending node of the orbit, in degrees.
i The inclination of the orbit, in degrees.
H and G Magnitude Parameters. These numbers are used to calculate the magnitude of the asteroid given its distance from the Earth and Sun.
